Featuring dual-band wireless connectivity, it transmits data concurrently over 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WI-Fi® bandwidths. This appliance uses 2-stream 802.11aac Wave 2 and 802.11n data protocols to transfer data remotely at maximum speeds of 1.3Gbps. The wireless network accommodates up to four SSIDs to optimize network resources. It embraces static (IP routing and multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) to control traffic flow. This static IP routing manually configures routing addresses to enable remote connections. The MPLS speeds and shapes network traffic flows.This Cisco Meraki security appliance comes with a comprehensive network and security services suite that incorporates threat management and SD-WAN capabilities. The suite eliminates the need for additional network appliances. Its 7 layer switching shapes traffic on application data basis. This ensures network utilization as per application prioritization. Use its content filtering to safeguard the enterprise network from dangerous sites and malicious content online. This firewall has an IPS that identifies and counters identified threats that may exploit a known vulnerability. Its desktop-form factor allows for convenient installation or positioning on walls and flat platforms.
